Do you think introverted kids have a harder time in school without realizing why?
I was just thinking about K's schedule and realizing that, for most of his day, he has no opportunity to be alone. Not that I think this bothers him... but it would bother me.
Did it bother you when you were actually in school? As long as there are activities (coloring, storytime, etc.) where you don't have to constantly interact with other people, maybe it's okay? I don't remember school particularly bothering my certified introvert self, but I think it might have if I had to actively interact with other kids all day long.
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't notice when I was in school, but I never thought about it. In retrospect, it seems like the school day would be easier on kids who thrive on constant company.
