Good article. I have been working on some of these things recently.
I was recently in a room full of women (at a nonprofit event, naturally) and it was interesting to see the different communication patterns. Many of the habits called out in that article were on display, but in a room full of women it didn't seem like anyone was undermining their power by, say, framing something as a question. It felt much more collaborative. (And these were women discussing a business matter, not just chatting.)

I did wonder whether some of these things might apply more to woman-man discussions than to woman-woman discussions.
