I recently received an entirely preprinted wedding thank-you note. Not even a handwritten signature! I'm usually not the etiquette police, and this is a dear friend, but I'm going to say it: TACKY.
When I read this, I immediately went digging through our mail pile to see if the dear friend was that same friend whose wedding we attended recently. Didn't find anything, which either means (1) yay, dear friend is not tacky! or (2) dear friend is SO TACKY THAT HE DIDN'T SEND US A THANK YOU NOTE AT ALL. But I guess we won't know about #2 until the customary year is up.
