Wow. That's not "lite" at all -- it seems like they've all accepted each other as equal life partners, to the point where one couple's kids are considered practically the kids of the other couple as well. The division of responsibilities sounds great, but I can't imagine having THREE other adults to negotiate with about my life decisions.
By the way, since my Internet access at work is restricted, I haven't been posting even when I find great things that I'd like to post. :( I used to post through gmail but I don't have access to gmail.
I meant "lite" as in four people rather than a full commune, but yes, it certainly seems like total commitment on the part of those four. I wonder what it would be like growing up with four parents in the same house.
