  2. I really enjoyed maintaining the list, and remembering what I'd read so far over the year -- I think this is going to become an ongoing thing. I already started my 2013 list. Re: favorites, 2012 was apparently my year for post-apocalyptic and dystopian themes -- I really loved The Road, the Wool Omnibus, The Passage, and Zone One. Please Look After Mom and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close were other favorites. And I found Gone Girl enjoyable, especially the first half.
